Action:

1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)

6) Click 'Change...' in the 'Monitor Type' group. (The 'Select Device' dialog box appears.)

7) Select the 'Show all devices' radio button.
8) Select a lower resolution from the 'Models' list.
NOTE: The currently selected resolution is highlighted.
9) Click 'OK'.
10) Click 'Apply'. (The 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears.)
11) Click 'Yes' to enable settings immediately.
12) If flicker still occurs, repeat the above steps, lowering the resolution each time.
